Hillcrest is a hamlet incorporated in 1893 and census-designated place, in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States. It is located north of Spring Valley, east of Viola, south of New Square and New Hempstead, and west of New City. The population was 7,558 at the 2010 census.
Ramapo to give away turkeys to seniors and veterans
The Town of Ramapo will offer a Holiday Turkey Giveaway to seniors and veterans of the town. Turkeys will be distributed on Monday, December 20th at 1pm at the Supervisor’s office in town hall.

Letters to Santa in Ramapo December 11th
Santa will be accepting letters from Town of Ramapo children on Saturday, December 11th from 9am to 12pm. Advanced registration is required.
Shed the Meds event held in Ramapo
Supervisor Michael Specht partnered with District Attorney Tom Walsh and Assemblyman Mike Lawler to host a Shed the Meds event at Ramapo Town Hall. Residents dropped off prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
