The Town of Ramapo will be continuing with our distribution of test kits and KN95 masks to seniors in nursing home facilities. We have successfully distributed to first responders, EMS workers, and municipal workers throughout the town.
Hillburn
Hillburn, originally called "Woodburn" and incorporated in 1893, is a village in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States. It is located north of Suffern, east of Orange County, south of Viola, and west of Montebello. It is considered to be one of the more rural communities in Rockland County. The population was 951 at the 2010 census.
Ramapo Weather Update

Snow will slowly pick up this evening after 7-9pm.
Moderate snow may occur between 3am-1pm Saturday with snowfall rates up to 1/2-1 inch per hour. Snow will end around 5-7pm Saturday.
Total snowfall amounts of 5-8 inches are expected.
There is a risk for locally higher amounts if there is a slight westward shift in the track of the system.
Temperatures will fall into the middle to upper teens for the morning hours Saturday, will only rise to the upper teens Saturday afternoon, and will fall to near 11F Sunday morning.

Ramapo senior center closed until January 3rd
Please be advised the Ramapo Senior Center will be closed for the holiday and will re-open on Monday, January 3rd, 2022.
Ramapo to give away turkeys to seniors and veterans
The Town of Ramapo will offer a Holiday Turkey Giveaway to seniors and veterans of the town. Turkeys will be distributed on Monday, December 20th at 1pm at the Supervisor’s office in town hall.

Town of Ramapo holds Coat, Hat & Glove drive
The Town of Ramapo is collecting coats, hats and gloves through December 23rd in a drop off box near the Supervisor’s office in Ramapo Town Hall.
