Haverstraw is a village incorporated in 1854 in the town of Haverstraw in Rockland County, New York, United States. It is located north of Congers, southeast of West Haverstraw, east of Garnerville, northeast of New City, and west of the Hudson River at its widest point. According to the 2019 U.S. Census estimate, the population was 12,045, an increase from the 2010 Census population of 11,910.

Dancing Under the Stars in Haverstraw August 20th
The Village of Haverstraw and the Town of Haverstraw will be hosting a Dancing Under the Stars event on Friday, August 20th from 7:30 to 10:30pm outside of Village Hall at 40 New Main Street, Haverstraw. The event will feature Jonny Hirsch Band and is free to the public.
Our Kids NY, Inc offering free books, haircuts and entertainment to boys in Grades K-8
Our Kids NY, Inc will be presenting a Back to School event featuring free haircuts , free books and a gaming truck at three locations. On Sunday, September 5th, from 10 am to 1pm, the event will be at Classic Cutz in Spring Valley, and on Monday, September 6th at 11am, it will be at Riquel & Flaco Barbershops in Haverstraw and also, September 6th, at 3pm, it will be at Yogi’s Plus in Nyack. Reservations are required.
